Vermentino
The Vermentino DOC 2025 from Valdifalco is an organically produced white wine from the Maremma in southern Tuscany. Tenuta Valdifalco is located south of Grosseto, not far from the coast and partly in the immediate vicinity of the Uccellina Natural Park. Vineyards and olive groves shape the Mediterranean landscape, while the proximity to the sea brings maritime influences and regular coastal breezes.
This wine is made exclusively from Vermentino, a grape variety particularly well suited to the warm, sunny climate of the Maremma. The estate’s soils are characterized by red clay. The combination of Mediterranean warmth, proximity to the coast and organic cultivation results in a characterful yet pleasantly fresh white wine. It pairs especially well with aperitifs, fish starters and grilled fish. In the glass, the wine shows a bright, pale straw-yellow colour. The nose is marked by Mediterranean fruit, complemented by delicate mineral and slightly saline notes. On the palate, it is juicy and fresh, with lively acidity, clear fruit expression and an elegant, finely structured character.
