The Cabernet Franc Vènti 2020 from Duemani is an exceptional red wine from the Tuscan coast, combining elegance, power and Mediterranean character. This exclusive Cabernet Franc was created to celebrate Duemani's 20th anniversary and embodies the distinctive winemaking philosophy of renowned oenologist Luca D’Attoma. The grapes come from organically and biodynamically cultivated vineyards with Demeter certification.
This remarkable wine originates from a carefully selected vineyard plot situated approximately 350 metres above sea level, on the hills overlooking Riparbella. Here, the vines grow on limestone-rich clay soils, influenced by the Mediterranean climate and the proximity of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The vines are traditionally bush-trained, while the grapes are carefully harvested and selected by hand. Vinification takes place in concrete tanks, with extended skin maceration and a small proportion of whole grape clusters. The wine then matures for 24 months in French oak barriques from the Tronçais forest, followed by at least another twelve months of bottle ageing.
In the glass, Vènti displays an intense, deep colour. Its complex bouquet reveals aromas of red fruits, fragrant roses, Mediterranean herbs, orange peel and delicate spices. On the palate, it offers an impressive combination of concentrated fruit, elegant power and profound minerality. Dense, silky tannins provide an exceptionally refined structure. The harmonious balance between intensity and elegance culminates in a long, expressive finish.
