The Radoarhof Zweigelt IGT 2024 is a fruit-driven organic red wine from Feldthurns in South Tyrol's Eisack Valley. The grapes come from vines over 30 years old, growing in Radoarhof's high-altitude vineyards. Organic cultivation and the Alpine climate shape the origins of this distinctive Zweigelt. Carefully selected, healthy and fully ripened grapes are harvested during the first passes of a multi-stage hand harvest. Following fermentation on the skins in stainless steel tanks, the grapes are gently pressed. The wine then matures in 500-litre barrels, remaining on its fine lees until the following July. In the glass, the Zweigelt displays a light ruby-red colour with delicate violet reflections. Its fruity bouquet reveals aromas of elderberry, plum and sour cherry, complemented by notes of cloves and cinnamon. On the palate, juicy freshness meets harmonious tannins, a smooth texture and subtle spice. A pleasantly lingering, peppery finish completes this lively red wine.
