The Radoarhof Müller-Thurgau IGT Etza 2024 is a distinctive organic white wine from Feldthurns in South Tyrol's Eisack Valley. Its grapes grow on sunny mountain slopes at approximately 900 metres above sea level, where the Alpine climate provides unique ripening conditions. Organic cultivation and careful hand harvesting form the foundation of this expressive Müller-Thurgau.
The winemaking process uses healthy, fully ripened grapes selected during the later stages of a harvest carried out in several passes. Part of the wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation in large oak barrels and remains on its lees until bottling. The remaining portion ferments in stainless steel tanks using selected yeasts. This combination gives the wine its distinctive structure and complexity.
In the glass, the Müller-Thurgau Etza displays a delicate yellow colour with golden reflections. The bouquet reveals aromas of honeydew melon, quince, dried banana and fresh hay, complemented by subtle vanilla notes. On the palate, lively, spicy acidity meets pronounced minerality, a smooth texture and a long, harmonious finish.
