The Sauvignon DOC “Stern” 2024 from the Kaltern winery is an outstanding representative of Sauvignon Blanc from South Tyrol, a region known for its high-quality white wines. This wine glows in the glass in an intense straw yellow with a sparkling core and develops an aromatic bouquet characterized by lively fruity and floral notes. The “star” is characterized by scents of citrus fruits, fresh herbs and a fine mineral note, which reflects its origin from the calcareous terroir around Lake Kaltern.

On the palate, Sauvignon “Stern” is juicy and full-bodied, with a strong yet elegant structure, which makes it an excellent accompaniment to a variety of dishes, in particular fresh fish dishes and light starters. The combination of intense aromas and well-integrated acidity makes it a particularly appealing wine for connoisseurs and connoisseurs.

The grapes for the “star” Sauvignon are harvested manually and carefully processed to preserve the quality and freshness of the fruit. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures, followed by aging on fine yeast, which gives the wine its characteristic texture and complexity. This wine is an expression of Kaltern Winery's passion and commitment to creating wines that reflect the region's terroir and tradition.
