The Lagrein Riserva DOC Abbey - 2023 from the MURI-GRIES monastery winery is a true gem from South Tyrol, famous for its elegance and depth. This outstanding red wine is characterized by its intense, dark color, which goes deep into the spectrum of dark plums and black cherries.

In the scent, this Lagrein reveals a fascinating complexity with ripe, dark fruits and subtle earthy notes, complemented by a hint of dark chocolate and leather, which underlines its origin and aging in oak barrels. The taste is powerful yet elegant, a perfect balance between ripe tannins and lively acidity, which gives it an exceptional structure. A long, persistent finish promises excellent aging potential.

The Lagrein grape variety, native to the alpine valleys of South Tyrol, is known for its ability to produce profound and characterful wines that reflect the region's alpine climate and mineral-rich soils.
