The Weissburgunder DOC Eich 2025 from Weingut Kornell is an excellent white wine that highlights the characteristic features of the Pinot Bianco (Pinot Blanc) grape variety. These grapes grow in Siebeneich on a south-west facing slope at an altitude of 300 meters above sea level. The soil consists of porphyry weathered rock containing quartz, which gives the wines a special minerality and the mild climate with over 2,100 hours of sunshine a year creates ideal growing conditions for the wines.
This wine has an intense, bright straw yellow. The bouquet is complex and features aromas of ripe apricot and yellow apple, accompanied by exotic notes of green mango and a touch of honey. On the palate, Weissburgunder DOC Eich 2025 impresses with a dry, strong structure, mineral and salty notes and a pleasant acidity. The aftertaste is juicy and stimulating, with a long aftertaste.
