The Pinot Grigio DOC Fallwind 2025 from St. Michael-Eppan Winery combines alpine freshness with the unmistakable signature of one of Alto Adige’s most renowned wineries. The grapes come from selected vineyards around Appiano, where calcareous gravel soils and significant temperature differences between warm days and cool nights create ideal conditions for expressive white wines. In Alto Adige, Pinot Grigio is one of the region’s most important white grape varieties, developing a particularly elegant style defined by refined fruit, precise freshness and distinctive minerality.

The Fallwind line from St. Michael-Eppan represents varietal, terroir-driven wines inspired by the influence of alpine air currents that shape the region. Wines from this range are known for their clarity, freshness and accessibility while maintaining a strong sense of origin and character. Gentle winemaking preserves the wine’s natural elegance and aromatic purity. In the glass, the wine displays a bright straw-yellow colour. The bouquet reveals aromas of pear, ripe apple and white flowers, accompanied by subtle citrus notes and mineral nuances. On the palate, the Pinot Grigio is fresh, juicy and harmonious, with lively acidity and an elegant, balanced finish.
