The Pinot Blanc DOC Schulthauser 2025 from St. Michael-Eppan Winery is one of South Tyrol’s most renowned expressions of this grape variety. The grapes come from selected vineyards around Appiano, located at elevations between approximately 540 and 620 metres above sea level. Calcareous gravel soils, combined with warm days and cool nights, create ideal conditions for developing freshness, elegance and aromatic precision. These unique site conditions give the wine its clear structure and refined minerality. Ageing in stainless steel preserves the varietal fruit character and highlights the elegant style for which Pinot Blanc is known. The result is a wine that harmoniously reflects both its origin and grape variety. In the glass, it displays a bright straw-yellow colour with greenish reflections. The bouquet reveals aromas of ripe apple, pear and citrus fruits, complemented by delicate floral notes and mineral nuances. On the palate, it is fresh and balanced, featuring lively acidity, elegant structure and precise fruit expression. The long finish is supported by fine minerality and lingering fruity accents.
