The Chardonnay DOC Lafóa 2024 from Colterenzio Winery is one of Alto Adige’s most renowned white wines, beautifully combining alpine freshness with an international style. The grapes come from selected vineyards around Girlan and Appiano, where warm sunny days and cool nights provide ideal conditions for producing an expressive Chardonnay. In Alto Adige, the grape variety develops a particularly elegant and precise character, balancing ripe fruit, vibrant freshness and refined mineral tension. At higher elevations, Chardonnay gains additional depth and structure while maintaining remarkable finesse.

The Lafóa line represents the flagship range of Colterenzio Winery, crafted from selected vineyard sites and vinified with exceptional care. Since its introduction, Lafóa has become one of the winery’s defining collections, standing for wines with strong character, ageing potential and a deep connection to their origin. Partial ageing in oak barrels adds complexity and structure while preserving the wine’s freshness and elegance.

In the glass, the wine displays an intense straw-yellow colour. The bouquet reveals aromas of exotic fruits, ripe apple and citrus, accompanied by delicate toasted notes, vanilla and mineral nuances. On the palate, the Chardonnay is powerful yet elegant, with a creamy texture, precise freshness and a long, harmonious finish.
