Perpetual Priorat 2017 by Familia Torres is an expressive red wine from the renowned Priorat wine region in Catalonia, Spain. This blend of 80% Cariñena and 20% Garnacha combines intense fruit character with elegance and remarkable depth.

The grapes come from vines over 80 years old, growing on steep slate slopes with the region's characteristic Llicorella soils. The vineyards are spread across five municipalities in Priorat, including Porrera, Torroja and Bellmunt. Different altitudes and climatic conditions contribute to the wine's distinctive complexity. The 2017 vintage stands out for its carefully managed ageing process, in which larger oak barrels allow the fruit aromas to take centre stage. The result is a characterful red wine that beautifully reflects the tradition and unique identity of Priorat.

In the glass, the wine displays a deep garnet-red colour. Its complex bouquet reveals aromas of ripe blackberries, dark berries and delicate mocha notes, complemented by balsamic nuances. On the palate, it is concentrated and elegant, with silky tannins, harmoniously integrated oak notes and a long, expressive finish.
