The Riesling Ruppertsberg Reiterpfad – Qualitätswein trocken 2020 by Bassermann-Jordan is an exceptional Riesling from the renowned VDP Erste Lage Reiterpfad in Ruppertsberg (Pfalz). The vineyards lie on northeast-facing slopes with sandstone and loess soils, providing remarkable freshness and precise minerality. Following hand-harvesting and overnight must clarification, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine remains on fine lees until bottling in April.

The Reiterpfad name denotes historical viticultural significance and First Class vineyard status. The 2020 vintage pours a vibrant straw-yellow with green-silver highlights. The bouquet offers white peach, mirabelle plum, exotic pineapple, delicate floral undertones, and subtle minerality. On the palate, it is juicy and structured, with crisp saline acidity, balanced body, and a long, refreshing finish—a lively yet elegant Riesling.
