The Edelvernatsch DOC 2024 from the Kaltern winery is a charming red wine from South Tyrol, made from the autochthonous Vernatsch grape variety. This wine shines in a bright ruby red in the glass and offers a seductive interplay of red berries, in particular morels, blueberries and raspberries. The scent is accompanied by a touch of violet and a slight spicy accent. On the palate, Edelvernatsch is light and fresh, with a soft tannin structure and a pleasant acidity that makes it easy to drink.

The vineyards where the Vernatsch grapes grow are located in an area known for their calcareous and porphyry soils, which gives the wines a characteristic fruitiness and minerality. Edelvernatsch is a typical representative of its region and offers excellent value for money. It is ideal for enjoying in good company and goes perfectly with traditional South Tyrolean dishes, light meat dishes or simply as a soloist for a relaxing evening.
