The Cuvée Rosso 448 s.l.m. IGT 2025 from Girlan Winery is a fruity and elegant red wine from South Tyrol, harmoniously combining the distinctive characteristics of regional grape varieties. The name "448 s.l.m." refers to the altitude of the winery's historic estate, situated 448 metres above sea level. The grapes grow on mineral-rich soils formed by glacial deposits. After careful hand harvesting, they are destemmed and fermented at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks. The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation and matures in concrete tanks. It pairs beautifully with grilled meats, roasts, game dishes and flavourful cheeses. In the glass, it displays a brilliant ruby-red colour. Its fruity bouquet reveals aromas of wild berries, complemented by delicate spicy notes. On the palate, it is fresh and light, with a smooth, velvety texture and pleasantly expressive fruit flavours.
