The Gewürztraminer DOC Praepositus 2023 from Novacella Abbey Winery is an exquisite wine that delights with its finesse and elegance. Its bouquet is characterized by intense aromas of rose petals, exotic fruits such as lychee, orange and passion fruit, as well as a subtle spice of ginger and coriander. These aromas develop in a bright, golden yellow hue in the glass and promise an extraordinary wine experience even visually.

The Gewürztraminer grape variety from which this wine is pressed is known for its unmistakable aromas and full body. It grows particularly well in cool climates and on the rocky soils of the wine-growing zone of South Tyrol. The grapes for Gewürztraminer DOC Praepositus come from the sun-drenched vineyards of Klosterkellerei Neustift, which are located at an altitude of up to 900 meters above sea level.

The special feature of this wine lies in its precision and terroir expression. Careful handpicking and careful processing of the grapes preserve the characteristic aromas and natural freshness of Gewürztraminer. Gewürztraminer DOC Praepositus is a prime example of the outstanding quality and distinctive terroir of Klosterkellerei Neustift.
