Müller Thurgau Schlossleiten Castel Juval
The Müller-Thurgau DOP Schlossleiten Castel Juval 2025 comes from a high-altitude vineyard situated directly below Castel Juval in the Vinschgau Valley. The vines grow in the Schlossleiten site at around 750 to 850 metres above sea level, with a south-eastern exposure towards the Schnalstal Valley. Schlossleiten is therefore one of the cooler sites of the estate, supporting the fresh and aromatic expression of Müller-Thurgau. The vineyards of Castel Juval Unterortl are certified organic, and the Schlossleiten 2025 is also an organic wine. The estate cultivates a total of 4.3 hectares and places strong emphasis on manual work in the vineyard and gentle handling of the grapes, allowing both the variety and its origin to come through clearly. In the glass, the wine appears light and bright. The nose offers fresh green apple and delicate floral notes. On the palate, it is lively and fresh, with clear fruit and well-defined acidity that gives the wine a precise, refreshing and energetic character.
