Nuits Saint Georges Fleurieres Soeurs Hospitaliéres
The Nuits-Saint-Georges Les Fleurières Cuvée des Sœurs Hospitalières 2019 is a distinctive Pinot Noir from the heart of Burgundy. It comes from the vineyards of the Hospices de Nuits-Saint-Georges in the Côte de Nuits. The cuvée combines grapes from the Les Fleurières and Les Plantes au Baron vineyards, located south of Nuits-Saint-Georges. Both plots lie below the renowned Les Pruliers and Les Didiers vineyards, producing a powerful, structured red wine.
The cuvée is named in honour of the hospital sisters who dedicated themselves to caring for the sick at the Hospices for centuries. The 2019 vintage is distinguished by a remarkable balance of ripe fruit, freshness and elegance. Vinification was carried out by the Hospices de Nuits-Saint-Georges, while Albert Bichot oversaw the careful ageing process in its cellars.
In the glass, the Pinot Noir displays a bright red colour. Its bouquet is characterised by red fruit aromas and impressive aromatic complexity. On the palate, it offers intense fruit flavours, a pronounced tannin structure and remarkable depth. Its balanced structure and lingering finish highlight the excellent ageing potential of this distinctive Burgundy cuvée.
