Cuvée Adamantis
Adamantis 2022 is the premium cuvée and flagship wine of Cantina Valle Isarco. Only around 2,000 bottles are produced from Sylvaner, Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Grigio and Kerner, four varieties that contribute different facets to the blend. Sylvaner brings elegance and fruit, Grüner Veltliner adds spice, Pinot Grigio provides structure and power, while Kerner contributes its distinctive aromatic character.
The selected vineyards lie at elevations between 600 and 850 metres. The soils are lean, shallow and stony, characterised by diorite. All grapes are harvested by hand and gently pressed after a short period of skin contact. Fermentation and subsequent maturation take place in barriques, where the wine remains on the fine lees for 18 months, followed by an additional period of bottle ageing.
In the glass, Adamantis displays a straw-yellow colour with golden reflections. Its complex bouquet combines white flowers, tropical fruit and peach with mountain herbs and citrus nuances. On the palate, it is complex, structured and beautifully balanced, retaining the characteristic freshness of the Valle Isarco and finishing with an elegant, lightly spicy and mineral character.
