The Chardonnay DOC Schwarzhaus 2025 from Stroblhof comes from a parcel in the Schwarzhaus vineyard area near Appiano. The vines grow at an altitude of around 430 metres on limestone-rich soils with gravel deposits. This site offers particularly favourable conditions for Burgundy grape varieties and contributes to the distinctive character of this South Tyrolean Chardonnay. Schwarzhaus was first produced in 1993. Fermentation takes place in large oak casks. The wine then matures on its fine lees for six months. This careful ageing process supports its smooth structure and combines ripe fruit with a pleasantly creamy texture. The result is an expressive and harmonious white wine that balances richness with elegance. It is particularly well suited to flavourful starters, fish, seafood and seasoned poultry dishes. In the glass, the wine appears clear and pale yellow. Its aroma combines yellow peach, ripe pineapple and delicate vanilla notes. On the palate, it is juicy and creamy, with a soft texture and a harmonious, lingering finish.
