Sangiovese Riserva DOC Aetos BIO
The Aetos Sangiovese Riserva DOC 2022 from Tenuta Sanoner originates in the picturesque Val d'Orcia in Tuscany. Near Bagno Vignoni, the estate produces distinctive wines that reflect their origins. The Sangiovese grapes grow in a landscape of rolling hills shaped by a long winemaking tradition. The vineyards are cultivated according to organic and biodynamic principles.
Only hand-harvested grapes are used for this Riserva. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in natural cement tanks. The wine is then aged for 24 months in oak barrels, followed by at least another six months in the bottle. This careful winemaking process allows it to develop depth, harmony and an elegant structure.
In the glass, the 2022 vintage displays a bright ruby-red colour with garnet highlights. The bouquet reveals aromas of blackberries and small red berries, complemented by delicate spice notes and balsamic nuances. On the palate, the wine is smooth and well-balanced, with lively acidity, silky tannins and a harmonious body. A long, expressive finish completes its refined character.
