The 2023 Riesling DOC from Landesweingut Laimburg comes from the Seeburg vineyard near Brixen. The vines grow on a south-facing slope at around 550 metres above sea level, on porphyry and sandy soils. After vinification, the wine matures for eight months on the fine lees, with half aged in large wooden casks and half in stainless steel tanks. This combination gives the wine structure while preserving its clear, varietal freshness. In the glass, the Riesling shows a brilliant white-gold colour with greenish nuances. The bouquet offers delicate fruity aromas of peach and apricot. On the palate, it is distinctive and well structured, supported by the typical acidity of Riesling. Its dry style and long persistence create a precise, fresh and lively overall impression.
