The Kerner Passito DOC Präpositus - vintage 2023 from Neustift is a gem among wines that seduces the senses and pampers the palate. Its color is a bright golden yellow that glows in the glass and increases the anticipation of pleasure. From the very first taste, it reveals a seductive scent of sun-kissed fruit, pickled apricots and pear compote, which caress the nose and make you want to take the first sip.

This wine is made from the Kerner grape, a unique grape variety known for its aromatic intensity and ability to produce noble aromas. The Kerner grape is a cross between the Trollinger and Riesling varieties, which is perfectly tailored to the region's terroir and gives the wine an unparalleled complexity.

What makes the Kerner Passito DOC Praepositus so special is its production as a Passito. This technique involves drying grapes on straw mats to increase their sweetness and concentration before they are pressed. The result is a wine of impressive density and richness that delights the palate with its complexity and finesse.
