Gewürztraminer DOC Sanct Valentin
The Gewürztraminer Sanct Valentin 2025 is one of the distinctive white wines of the prestigious Sanct Valentin range from St. Michael-Eppan Winery. Part of the collection since 1986, it is produced from selected vineyards in Eppan and Kaltern, located at elevations between 300 and 500 metres. South-eastern exposures, together with calcareous gravel soils containing clay, help shape the expressive and elegant character of this South Tyrolean wine. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected. After a short period of skin contact, they are gently pressed, followed by fermentation and ageing in stainless-steel tanks. This approach preserves the characteristic aromatic intensity of the variety. The wine pairs particularly well with spicy and flavourful dishes, Asian cuisine, mature cheeses, saffron risotto and seafood-based preparations. In the glass, it displays an intense golden-yellow colour. The nose reveals pronounced aromas of rose, exotic fruit, lychee, passion fruit and oriental spices. On the palate, it is rich and complex, with expressive fruit, refined spicy notes and a delicate touch of fruity sweetness.
