The Gewürztraminer DOC Selection Turmhof 2024 from Tiefenbrunner is an expressive, aromatic white wine and one of the hallmark selections of the estate. The Turmhof Selection represents wines from carefully chosen vineyards, marked by reduced yields and hand harvesting to ensure concentration, purity and depth. The Gewürztraminer grape thrives in South Tyrol’s mineral-rich, sunny sites, where it develops its distinctive floral and exotic aromas. In the glass, it displays a bright straw yellow with golden reflections, indicating ripeness and balance. The nose presents an intense, layered bouquet with notes of rose petals, exotic fruits such as lychee and mango, and subtle spicy nuances, typical of high-quality Gewürztraminer. On the palate, it is dry, full-bodied and elegant, supported by balanced acidity that highlights the rich aromatics and lends freshness. The finish is long, soft and harmonious, perfectly in line with the refined character of the Turmhof Selection. A Gewürztraminer that masterfully combines expressiveness, structure and finesse.
