Abfüller Informationen

Terlan Winery, Silberleitenweg 7, 39018 Terlan (BZ), IT

The Pinot Blanc Vorberg Riserva 2024 from Cantina Terlan is one of South Tyrol's distinctive white wines, beautifully expressing the unique characteristics of its origin. The historic Vorberg vineyard stretches across steep, sun-drenched slopes of the Tschögglberg mountain at elevations between 450 and 650 metres. Its south to southwest-facing exposure and pronounced temperature differences between day and night favour optimal grape ripening. Particularly significant are the poor, mineral-rich soils composed of volcanic quartz porphyry, which contribute to the wine's characteristic depth and minerality.

The grapes are carefully harvested by hand and gently pressed as whole bunches. Slow fermentation takes place in large oak barrels. The wine then matures for twelve months on fine lees in traditional wooden barrels. This ageing process enhances its complex structure, elegant richness and remarkable ageing potential.

In the glass, the Vorberg displays a brilliant straw-yellow colour with greenish reflections. Its multifaceted bouquet combines aromas of honeydew melon, white peach, pear and Golden Delicious apple with delicate notes of quince, chamomile, pineapple and flint. On the palate, it impresses with a creamy texture, juicy fruit, spicy minerality and a long, expressive finish.
