The Pinot Noir Rosé Virgo 2025 from Ansitz Kränzel is a distinctive organic rosé from Cermes near Merano, combining freshness, elegance and refined structure. The grapes come from a single vineyard situated at elevations of up to 700 metres above sea level. The cooler climate encourages slow ripening, contributing to the wine's precise aromas and lively freshness. During vinification, the Pinot Noir grapes are gently pressed and carefully processed. The pale must undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The rosé then matures for approximately seven months in small wooden barrels, developing additional depth and structure. In the glass, Virgo displays an intense salmon-pink colour. The bouquet reveals aromas of rhubarb, currants, marzipan and dried herbs. On the palate, it is juicy and well-defined, with lively acidity, delicate spice and subtle tannins. An expressive rosé with a fresh character and harmonious structure.
