The Pinot Grigio Puiten DOC 2025 from Schreckbichl Winery is an elegant white wine from South Tyrol, distinguished by its expressive fruit character, remarkable richness and vibrant freshness. Part of the winery's Selection range, it combines carefully selected grapes with a particularly gentle winemaking process. The vines grow in gently sloping vineyards on gravelly, sandy soils. After harvesting, the must ferments at low temperatures, predominantly in stainless steel tanks, while a portion undergoes fermentation in large wooden barrels. The wines then mature separately on their fine lees for ten months before being blended and gently bottled. This carefully managed ageing process gives Puiten its distinctive depth and complexity. In the glass, it displays an intense greenish-yellow colour. Its inviting bouquet reveals fruity aromas of quince, pear and honeydew melon. On the palate, it impresses with a rich, complex structure and refreshing acidity, bringing pleasant vibrancy to its remarkable fullness.
