Sauvignon DOC Prail
The Sauvignon DOC Prail 2025 from Colterenzio is an elegant white wine from South Tyrol, distinguished by its intense fruit character, lively freshness and delicate minerality. Part of the winery's Selection range, it combines the distinctive aromas of Sauvignon Blanc with the expressive character of its origin. The grapes grow in selected hillside vineyards at altitudes between 400 and 500 metres above sea level. Mineral-rich moraine soils provide favourable conditions for developing its complex aromatic profile. Fermentation takes place predominantly in stainless steel tanks, while a portion of the must ferments in large oak barrels. Both components then mature separately for six months on their fine lees before being carefully blended and bottled. In the glass, the Prail displays a brilliant pale yellow colour with greenish reflections. Its expressive bouquet combines elderflower and acacia blossom with passion fruit, lime and delicate herbal notes. On the palate, it is fresh and complex, revealing hints of whitecurrant, melon and stone fruit. Lively acidity and a subtly mineral finish give the wine elegance and length.
