The Pinot Grigio Aristos from Kellerei Eisacktal is an elegant white wine from South Tyrol, reflecting the distinctive characteristics of its Alpine origins. The Aristos range features high-quality wines from selected top vineyard sites, known for their pronounced varietal character, complex aromas and refined structure.
The Pinot Grigio grapes grow at altitudes of 550 to 600 metres on deep, fertile clay soils with excellent water retention. Deliberately limited yields help ensure high grape quality, while harvesting is carried out entirely by hand. After a short period of skin contact, the grapes are gently pressed. Temperature-controlled fermentation is followed by ten months of ageing on the fine lees, partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in large wooden barrels. This careful winemaking process gives the wine body and a harmonious structure while preserving its freshness.
In the glass, it displays a pale yellow colour with greenish hues. The elegant bouquet reveals delicate aromas of pear and apple. On the palate, it is full-bodied, rounded and well-balanced, with pleasant acidity, fruity notes and a delicate, lingering finish.
