Abfüller Informationen

St. Michael Eppan Winery, Umfahrungsstraße 17-19, 39057 Eppan (BZ), IT

The Comtess’ Sanct Valentin 2024 from St. Michael-Eppan Winery is a refined South Tyrolean dessert wine made exclusively from Gewürztraminer grapes. The grapes come from selected vineyards at the foot of Castel San Valentino and from Pinzano near Montagna. Calcareous gravel soils and sun-drenched slopes provide ideal conditions for the slow ripening of these aromatic grapes.

To produce this distinctive wine, the grapes remain on the vines until late autumn, allowing them to dry naturally. At the end of November, they are carefully harvested and selected by hand. Following gentle pressing, fermentation and ageing take place partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in small wooden barrels. This process creates a concentrated and complex dessert wine with remarkable aromatic intensity and an elegant character.

In the glass, the Comtess’ displays a deep amber colour. Its bouquet reveals enticing aromas of dried apricots, ripe exotic fruits and acacia honey. On the palate, it is rich and creamy, with concentrated fruity sweetness balanced by lively, refreshing acidity. A long, harmonious finish completes the tasting experience.
