The wines of Ferghettina are characterized by elegance and balance.

When speaking of Ferghettina, one refers to a winery deeply rooted in the tradition of Franciacorta. Founded in 1991 by Roberto Gatti, a winemaker with over 20 years of experience, Ferghettina started with the management of 4 hectares of land in Erbusco. Today, the vineyards span over 200 hectares across 11 municipalities in Franciacorta, with different soil types consciously utilized to enhance the quality of the wines.

The Gatti family shares a deep passion for winemaking: Roberto and his wife Andreina run the winery together with their children Laura and Matteo, both trained oenologists. This close family collaboration is reflected in the care and dedication with which every step of the production process is carried out.

A remarkable feature of Ferghettina is the innovative square bottle design, created and patented by Matteo Gatti. This unique shape increases the surface area between the wine and the yeast during aging by 2.5 times compared to traditional bottles. This results in a more intense release of mannoproteins and yeast lees, enriching the aromatic components of the wine.

The wines of Ferghettina, including the Franciacorta Brut, the Satèn, and the "Milledì," are characterized by elegance and balance. The careful selection of grapes from different vineyards allows for the creation of cuvées of the highest quality that authentically reflect the terroir of Franciacorta.
